A MAC (Media Access Control) address is a unique identifier assigned to network interfaces for communications on the physical network. Each MAG device has a specific MAC address that must be registered with the IPTV provider’s servers. Some IPTV providers offer a dashboard where you can add or edit your MAC address; if not, you’ll need to contact them directly.
How to Find the MAC Address on a MAG Box
To locate the MAC address of your MAG box, simply turn the device around. The MAC address is typically found on the backside and usually starts with specific characters. If you switch to a different MAG device, ensure the new MAC address is updated with your IPTV provider.This is necessary to setup iptv on the Mag Box.
